Support Our Mission

As a non-profit organization, Mercy Steps Program relies on donations to ensure that we can provide our valued resources free of charge. Mercy Steps Program remains committed to offering support to the rural Kenyan cancer victors. There are a number of ways to support our cancer program.

Donate your Breast Prosthesis and Mastectomy Bra

Our initiative of “Gift-Receive-Re-wear” encourages women who would like to give their bras another life to donate them to Mercy Steps Program. It has helped a lot of women who cannot afford Mastectomy bras.

We accept New and used Breast prostheses. You may donate this directly to us or to the nearest station in your country. All donated items are then gifted to the cancer victims who need them in rural Kenya. We also accept other types of prosthesis.

Donate your Wig

We collect all types and colours of wigs for women who have lost their hair due to Chemotherapy. The blond ones are dyed brunette to enable reuse, so don’t hesitate to send us yours if it`s of another hair colour.

Donate your time

Mercy steps program works closely with tour companies. If you are travelling to Kenya and you`ve got some spare time during your holidays, please fit us in on your itinerary. Mercy steps program offers you a day with the locals.

Donate Equipment

You may donate medical lab equipment to Mercy Steps Program. Your support of our healthcare centres in Kenya is highly appreciated.

Donate monetary funds

When you donate any amount of monetary funds, you are helping support several programs in our cancer program.

Mobile screening for cervical cancer
Free screenings including mammograms for women in need
Educational programs
Transport to and from therapy
Chemo and Radiotherapy
Palliative care at home
Transport of the donations from Switzerland to Kenya
